Karl Suss Manual Sample Station PM8 with Mitutoyo Microscope and Objectives
The PM8 from SUSS MicroTec offers an optimal solution for precise analytical sample applications with a diameter of up to 140 mm. It is ideal for device and wafer characterization tests (DWC), failure analysis (FA), high frequency (HF) tests as well as opto-technical and MEMS tests.
The PM8's integrated magnets on the steel plate not only ensure effective vibration damping, but also precise positioning of the samples. This creates a stable and accurate environment that is ideal for demanding sample and high frequency testing.
A first-class microscope and high-quality objectives from Mitutoyo with magnifications of 2x, 10x, 20x and 50x characterize the sample station. The infinitely variable zoom from 1x to 2x and the integrated camera adapter considerably increase the flexibility for various applications.
The microscope is also equipped with an LED light source and a Schott light guide.
Ergonomically designed, the PM8 offers a low profile design for easy access to all parts of the System.
The microscope and the sample station are equipped as follows:
- Mitutoyo optics carrier with infinitely variable zoom from 1x - 2x
- Mitutoyo phototube with eyepiece pair WF 10x/24 (focusable)
- 4x nosepiece with the following objectives:
- M Plan Apo 2x/0.055
- M Plan Apo 10x/0.28
- M Plan Apo 20x/0.42
- M Plan Apo SL 50x/0.42
- Schott cold light source KL 300 LED with Schott light guide
- Three Probe Heads PH100, one of which is defective at the tip
As can be seen in the pictures, three of the four objectives have scratches, but these are not noticeable when viewed on a Wafer.
The sample station comes without a control unit, the pneumatic and electrical elements have not been tested.
The microscope and the sample station are in good, little-used condition and will be shipped on a pallet by Schenker.
